GOVERNMENT "CHARITY"?
It is the season of giving - those who have the means helping to provide for those less fortunate. What would Thomas Jefferson say about the federal government providing for the poor (welfare), elderly (Medicare / prescription drugs) and other current social "entitlements"?
A clue might be what the federal constitution mandates.
