AN INDIVIDUAL'S RIGHTS, PART 2
We will continue our discussion on the 1798 Alien and Sedition Acts and their similarity (or, lack of) to the 2001 Patriot Act.
And, in connection with this subject:
- Was the recent CBS network decision to pull the Reagan biography an
example of stifling our constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech?
- Is this an example of our government consciously or unconsciously
creating an atmosphere of fear for any citizens who would object to their
policies, as Alien and Sedition Acts did for Francophiles during the Adams'
administration?
